Combat companions, Treeling unlock locations, and recommended companion combinations for every arena.
Pets System
Pets are combat companions that provide passive effects during arena runs. You equip one pet at a time from the Pet Sanctuary before entering an arena.
Rusdy — Crowd Controller
Rusdy periodically freezes nearby enemies with its Freeze ability. Freeze temporarily immobilizes enemies, creating windows of safety during overwhelming swarm moments. Rusdy is the recommended pet for Frozen Pond and Hellscape.
Quacky — Knockback Specialist
Quacky pushes enemies away using Knockback, creating space between your character and approaching swarms. Quacky is particularly valuable in early-game arenas like Carrot Farm.
Starcat — XP Accelerant
Starcat gathers XP automatically and deals damage when enemies touch you. Starcat is ideal for players focused on fast arena progression and level-up optimization.
Treeling System
Treelings are special arena companions unlocked by finding them during runs. Each Treeling provides a unique effect when equipped.
Magnetika — Resource Farmer
Magnetika spawns a power-up magnet after killing a set number of enemies, dramatically accelerating Dew and XP collection. It is the highest-priority Treeling unlock.
Slo Moe — Defensive Essential
Slo Moe slows all enemy projectiles around your character, giving you more reaction time against ranged attacks. Slo Moe is the single best Treeling for difficult arena attempts.
Dashy — Mobility Amplifier
Dashy refunds one dash charge after you use it, effectively doubling your dash availability when combined with dash-triggered builds. Essential for dash-triggered builds.
Furiosy — Clean Run Attacker
Furiosy increases your attack speed after killing enemies without taking damage. For speedrun attempts and aggressive build strategies, Furiosy is the optimal choice.
Macho — Emergency Healer
Macho causes a health pickup to drop after you receive a set amount of damage. Macho is the best defensive Treeling for boss fights and high-difficulty arena attempts.
